Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Very beautiful and quiet little restaurant. Only had coffee but it was excellent. Coming back for dinner! Menu items seem reasonable (250mxn)"
"We had a wonderful experience here. Outstanding food, service and atmosphere. Sophia and Renee went above and beyond. Get the cheesecake with hazelnut gelato! Thank you."
"This was the best pizza I’ve had in a long time, if not the very best, and I’m not exaggerating. We can vouch for the pear and ham as well as the margherita. Theres something about the crust that was perfect here. I can also highly recommend the mezcalini with passion fruit, but the velvet sunset was just ok and not very interesting to me. I also loved the atmosphere."
"I was really excited to try this restaurant after reading so many good reviews and seeing the photos, but unfortunately I left disappointed. The four stars are entirely for the service—the servers were absolutely amazing. The food, however, was a letdown. The calamari came out more like an American-style version—over-breaded, overcooked, and nothing like the Italian preparation I had expected from the photos. The Caesar salad, though listed as grilled, arrived as warm, soggy lettuce drenched in dressing—completely inedible. The saving grace was the main pasta dish and drinks. What stood out most was the staff’s attentiveness. They noticed we weren’t eating the calamari, checked in with us, and graciously removed it from the bill, which I truly appreciated. Overall, the service was excellent, but the food needs serious improvement to match the expectations set by the reviews and photos."
"Blown away! Pizza was so so good. Strawberry vinaigrette, would fly out here again for it. Applaud to the chef 10/10 A+"
"Great restaurant. Loved the food, the service and the atmosphere and the price was REASONABLE! 4 for dinner with apps, entrees, drinks and dessert, all for under $200 US. Highly recommended."
"Very good food and service. Nice wine selection. We had their pizza and Picolo salad, both very good. Their cheaper bottle is from France and very good. We will return"
"Just outstanding!!! We showed up one of the nights of Carnaval thinking they would be booked (most of the restaurants on the boardwalk could not accommodate anyone due to the busy crowds). We were welcomed in with our 3 kids, and given warm and wonderful service. We have kids who are picky and they were willing to do their pasta with no meat and kept checking in about putting cheese or a garnish on top… it was just top level service!!! Our family is Italian and I would say that this is the quality we normally get in Italy. Everything is so fresh, and the chefs take great care to prepare everything beautifully on the plate. Everything they did for us was out of a true love for service and it felt very much like we were at someone’s family home in Italy. It was exactly what a weary traveling family needed, and we very much appreciated it. A little piece of Italy, right in the heart of La Paz. Don’t miss this wonderful restaurant!!"
